顧名思義，讓 Treo 自動同步，當然可以做許多設定。有興趣的去下載來玩玩吧！

一個 App 在不同作業系統下都能執行，對程式開發者來說方便，對消費者來說也方便 ... 這位作者投 Palm 一票。因為目前 Palm 的軟體最多，只要在其他平台有完美的模擬器便行。不過作者也說，完美模擬器還沒出現。

類似 java, flash 跨平台的的概念... 已經知道 ALP 會支援，Android 還沒聽說，Maemo (Nokia N 系列) 有 ALP 釋出的模擬器，WinMo, Symbian 和 iPhone (?) 有 StyleTap。好像有那麼一回事的樣子。

HobbyistSoftware 測試 Centro soft reset 的速度，發現只要 29 秒鐘。
這速度雖略遜於 Treo 650，但差不了太多。

Treo 680 要將近 80 秒嗎？下次我得把碼表拿出來計時...

以我個人為例，除隨身攜帶的 Treo680 外，TX 也是不離身的。但並不是因為 Treo680 不可靠，而是喜歡 TX 的大銀幕。

其實我覺得：這些哪算殺手級軟體，都俱備了也只是和現有手持裝置作業系統並駕齊驅而已，談不上多新鮮的應用。就我對 Palm 免費軟體的瞭解，大約可以符合這些需求的程式可能是：

• Voip software (沒有)
  

• A full-featured media player with an iPod-like UI (TCPMP)
  

• A multi-protocol IM client (Gizmo)
  

• An e-book reader (TiBR... 太多了)
  

• Twitter / Pounce client (TreoTwit 只是中文不支援)
  

• A mmorpg (nothing too fancy — think Runescape) (多人線上遊戲，這個我真的沒注意到 palm 上有這樣的 freeware)
  

• Game emulators (Gameboy, Playstation, ect) (LJP)
  

• Text to speech traffic optimized GPS navigation (may be provided with the Google Maps app). (沒有)

TamsPalm 寫到在 Palm 上解壓 rar，的確是個令人困擾的問題。解 zip 基本上沒什麼困難，作者提到的 Resco Explorer 以外，我常用的是 ZCardZ (freeware)，另一個 freeware 叫做 PalmCommander 也可以。至於 MobileRAR... 用來解 rar 的 Java Midlet，我試過並沒有成功。這篇文章提醒我們，可以考慮一個線上解壓縮服務，叫做 MobZip ，可支援 7z, ZIP, GZIP, TAR, BZIP2, RAR, CAB, ARJ, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB, LZH, SPLIT, CHM, ISO 這麼多種壓縮格式，利用 Palm 的網頁瀏覽器就可操作，大家來試試看囉！

難怪前些時候有人說這句話：笨蛋，問題在瀏覽器！

OpenDNS 還有針對 Palm OS 5 機種的設定教學 (其實很簡單)，我認為相當值得試試。

對一個老系統，無 3G，相機陽春的機種來說，我覺得是太貴了。
Centro 若要進台灣，這種價格應該超難賣，除非有系統商願意合作，也賣 99 USD... 我看機會是很小吧！

Deluxe 公司推出氣象軟體 weather beta 供下載，畫面蠻精緻的，可以前去下載試用。不過，目前只能顯示當天的天氣資料，無法呈現一周氣象，我想可能因為是 beta 版的緣故吧！



同類軟體我還推薦 kMeteo，檔案較小，可以看一周氣象資料。
